Warm place where we always have a great time, not great gastronomy, but we appreciate the cuisine and the place

Years later I was in trouble again, we have definitely not been here for 3 years, unfortunately we didn't like it, the audience is getting younger and younger, prices well .... There are nice, cozy pubs in Freiburg.

Came here a few years ago on a stag do with about 30 others , took this bar over for the weekend , fantastic time no trouble, great bar staff n locals, the dungeon bit is a bit weird though🤔the only downside was the urinal self cleaning which was actually recycled urine which actually made you want to vomit the ammonia was that strong 🤭

Delicious food and the young woman from the service was so prudent, quick and hardworking as I've never experienced it before. You would have to pay double the wages than the slow, comfortable gentlemen in the service. Today and here it became clear to me that it is the women who ensure prosperity in the country, not the men, for whom everything is a.A. goes by.

Really nice service...Food as well as drinks --- really good.

Quickly allocated space - "Where there is space, you can sit down". Service fast and friendly. Two people sat at a long table for 10 people at the end of the table. 5 more people sit down - Corona? Food mixed - prices appropriate.

Everything great. Young audience. Very large selection of spirits ... I was happy to try the menu. But still had to drive ... 🥺 And the food was great too. If we're here again, I'll stay longer.

A beautiful restaurant with great attention to detail and a large selection of drinks. Kölsch is way too expensive, but I prefer to drink it at home, so no deduction. 👍👍👍

If you want really good and authentic food and drink, Schlappen is the right place! Even with a group of 20 people, we were spontaneously welcomed in the evening and were well catered for. Thank you very much!

Delicious beer and nice service. Unfortunately the food was not good. We had a fish that was completely over-fried and a flammable tarte flambée that was spicy. Drink with beer and people watch great. You should eat somewhere else.

Nice pub sat outside there was a lot to see. Service very friendly and courteous. I can really recommend it.

As a pure pub it is certainly cult and great! Unfortunately not recommended for eating: the pizza is a tarte flambée that is not through in the middle. With potato specialties we would have expected more than pure greasy deep-fried wedges and curly fries and the cucumbers in the salad were already moldy and slimy.

Great economy, the food is excellent. Prices fit. There is a blonde, young male waitress who is extremely friendly, nice and courteous. Keep it up.

When a service person carefully enters the premises from behind with a rancid: "To the side, there are people here who have to work!" To be greeted is just a wonderful start. The staff are mostly not very friendly and the atmosphere ... rustic. Ordered relatively quickly, 3 out of 4 dishes came quickly. The last one came when 3 had already eaten completely. Food was okay. While clearing the plates, the waiter was able to squint us with his eyes and roll, including shrugging his head, to bring the plates to the table .... maybe his back had it ?! I don't have to go again ... There was also a tip ... 0.40 €, however, I thought it was excessive!

Was there with colleagues last night, service very fast and friendly, plenty of choice of drinks and food. I had a salad with turkey strips, exactly 4 small pieces that were bone dry and burned, for the price of € 12.90 a cheek to serve something like this to the guest, when asked why there is so little meat on it, it says that it is always like that. Colleague had spaghetti bolognese for € 6.90 and a large portion. In this shop there is nothing wrong with the calculation for the food. Absolutely not recommended. OK for a drink, that's it. Mass processing in piecework.

Relatively expensive. Burned pizza and another proof of better eating Italian pizza. The waitress always had to be called by us, it didn't come by itself. Won't eat there anymore

The staff worked quickly, cleanly and nicely. The tables were cleaned perfectly and the armchairs were extremely comfortable. This restaurant really has the potential to become my next favorite. Inexpensive, diverse selection of dishes and drinks. My sister and I were actually extremely happy to finally find a restaurant near us that we can still afford at the end of the month without hesitation.

Good place to hangout in Freiburg. They have a wide selection of whiskeys and absinthe. Not all the servers are prompt or kind, but at the end of the day you will get your drink! They do not take cards though!!

So definitely go there. Awesome beer selection. Staff is great. Must say unfortunately goes to the toilet is what I have never seen, my wife was also flabbergasted ...

A cafe restaurant that does not look like much, but very pleasant. Three large dining rooms and a fairly large counter. A good choice of dishes. And a large menu of drinks (They serve as apinthe). I ate well there. For the most a sort of well dungeon and toilets of the most original.

Only cash....??? Sorry but no, I ll not come back at this place

Pub, brewery and restaurant ideal to have a good time with friends. I went on a Saturday and there was an excellent atmosphere, yes, we had a hard time finding a table. Very good beer and food too. Recommended site

Best place in Freiburg for beer, schnitzels and some good music. Great choice of everything and good staff. Located in the very center of Freiburg.

Best pub food I've had for a long time. Great beer.

One of the typical German pubs. Large selection of draft beers from all over Europe. Prices for big beer are up to 5 EUR. Young and old people come here. During the weekend the pub is very full and sometimes even outside. The disadvantage is the inability to pay by card.

Perfect student pub, good music, nicely mixed crowd, stunning Whiskey selection.

Cool atmosphere and wide range of drinks to choose from. The food was also pretty nice, just that the portions were HUGE. It was one of the very few places open on Christmas Eve in Freiburg. The service was a bit slow, but it is excusable considering the crowd at the time. Overall I would recommend it as a nice place to chill and have some drinks.

no matter what your age is, there is a place for you there.It is actually a very big pub in which you have the options to drink, eat or both.The prices are good concerning the portions.The staff is very friendly and welcoming.Make sure you order the big Teller with the french Fries.... different sizes with two sauce options. Absolutely tasty !

Excellent beer selection and ambience. Food smelled nice but didn't order any.

Lively big pub. Lots of options, even had Newcastle Brown on tap! Great if you're in a big group. Not sure about the mirrored toilets though!

The service was normal, not fast, the taste was the best and the prices ok, like it!

Typical students pub. Great food at good price. The interior is almost all wooden and has an authentic touch.

Very nice location, they have a lot different stuff to drink there and also much space to sit. The personnel is nice and fast.
